Damauli, April 23: Construction of Chap Khola Micro Hydropower Project at the remote Kota VDC, known as the Karnali of Tanahun, is complete at the cost of Rs. 3,027,307.
Ministry for Peace and Reconstruction has chipped in Rs. 800,000, District Development Committee Rs. 143,375 and the VDC itself provided Rs. 400,000.

CHOWMEIN SELLER BECOMES LAKHAPATI
Tanahun, April 22: A 33-year-old man in Tanahun district has become lakhapati in five years selling chowmien.
A local resident of Byas Municipality-7, Bel Bahadur Magar sells more than 200 kilograms of chaumin at Rs. 37 per kg daily.
He was into this profession since more than five years. "I have purchased two ropanis of land at Byas-7 and concrete house worth Rs. 2.5 million and also another house at Byas-10 worth Rs. 2.2 million," said Magar.
